Jay’s Lost Pet Application Process Works

  • Begin by paying the screening fee and submitting the information required for your background check. Background checks help protect pet owners, every applicant must complete a criminal background screening.

    Applicants may be denied for convictions involving: animal cruelty or abuse, violent crimes, fraud or theft, stalking or harassment, sexual offenses, Any other conduct we believe creates a meaningful safety or trust concern

    We review the nature, severity, and relevance of any record before making a decision.

    Payment for the background check is non-refundable and doesn't guarantee approval on our website.

  • Tell us about your business, service area, pricing, animal recovery experience, drones, and thermal equipment.

  • Schedule an ~30 minute onboarding call to review your experience, confirm your equipment and services, and answer any questions about your listing Jay’s Lost Pet listing.

  • We verify your business is in good standing, contact information is correct, and the details you provided during your application are correct.

  • If approved, you complete your annual membership payment.

  • Your business is added to the Jay’s Lost Pet map so pet owners can contact you directly.

  • Approved pilots are also listed in the Featured section of our Drone Animal Rescue Facebook group, giving more than 5,000 community members another easy way to find and contact verified operators.

Jay’s Lost Pet is not responsible for the services performed, disputes, damages, losses, or search outcomes.

Approved Pilot Badge

After 25 pilots, approved pilots receive the standard Jay’s Lost Pet Approved Pilot badge to use on their website, email signature, and social media. You’ll also be listed in our Approved Pilot Database and featured in the Drone Animal Rescue Facebook group, giving pet owners multiple ways to find and verify your business
